Survival
With each blow life inflicts upon my soul
My spirit grows
Awaiting the next
For woe and I have lived together
In the same lone home.
With each blow life inflicts upon my heart
I lie down like a tired child
And weep the instability of life
My understanding evolves
And wonders on the shores of life.
With each blow life inflicts upon my brothers
I soak eternal pain
Like sands on the seashore
Soak the ocean waves
For my heart and theirs are merged
Like different shadows into one.
